Worked as well a most PLAs I've used, with standard PLA settings. The initial glow looks nice, but fades relatively fast, leaving a faint glow that lasts much longer.I was making a "Rick & Morty" portal gun and wanted to have the "portal fluid container" and the "emitters" glow. Most of the glow-in-the-dark filaments are that pale, whitish-green in normal light. I wanted something that was actually green in normal light, but would also glow. This fit the bill. I made the walls thicker so there would be more material to glow.I use a small UV flashlight to "charge" the filament, although it will glow after exposure to sunlight, or to incandescent bulbs (although not as bright).UPDATED TO 5 STARS! When I’m wrong I’m wrong. So it turns out I had to drop my print temperature a lot lower than I would have ever expected. This prints much lower than any other PLA I’ve used. That’s one of the hard things when the print ranges are so big. I am now printing amazing quality prints at 200 degrees with zero issues. Not 210, 205, 190, or 195. 200 is the sweet spot with zero issues. Fine by me now that I know. I wish I would have discovered this without using most of the roll on test prints. Oh well. I would recommend this to anyone and encourage you to start on the lower end and work your way up if you’re having print issues. The pic is Slimer in the works!At first glance I loved this filament. Great green color and pretty good glow. Too some tweaking of settings to get a perfect first layer. That’s alright because it’s the same with any new filament. Then the nightmares began. Great first layer then hours in the print would fail. The first time it jammed up and in the Teflon tube. I actually changed my time be and tried again. Checked all my settings and went again. Same situation. Great first layer and then eventually it fails. I’m not sure if the diameter is inconsistent or what keeps causing this. The second time the filament got stuck in the feeding gear and the printer just kept going trying to feed it through. I switched to one of my other PLA and had zero issue. Considering how many prints I’ve done through the years and my OCD with quality, I’m left to think something is inconsistent within the quality of the glow filament. Too bad because I like the look of it.This has got to be the best glow in the dark filament out there. I also love the green color instead of the weird translucent glow stuff. I printed a bunch of Heart of Tafiti necklaces with this for a little girl's birthday party and they looked awesome. Printing a giant slimer model right now the rest of my spool. Color is perfect for both.I was skeptical at first as this brand was unknown to me. But I ordered it as this was an item that fit my budget and was available on amazon at the time. I didn't have to do much to get it started. 200 deg Centigrade Nozzle temperature, a 60 degree bed with some hair spray for adhesion on my Ender 3 with a glass bed worked successfully the very first time! These are my usual PLA settings and I didn't have to change anything!The proof is in the pudding. I printed out a mask from Thingiverse as a tree decor for my wife. Keep it in a dark room and you can see it really glow! The mask was shrunk down to 65% to fit diagonally on the Ender 3. Despite getting out of the gate with a complex print, the filament performed admirably. This print took 22 hours and 4 minutes at 50 mm/s, and therefore I'm of the belief that this filament can be relied upon for complex and/or large projects.The filament itself it fine. Nothing special, but no negatives. However, it will NOT stay on the spool! Keeps unwrapping itself. Takes what should be a stand alone printing operation and makes you have to check it every 10 minutes to make sure it hasn't come off and wrapped something. Perhaps it will be better as I use filament, but I've made two prints with it and so far it won't stay under control.Update- First, after several prints it still will not stay on the spool. It's noticeably more rigid than all the other PLA I have. I really don't care for that at all. Second, it shrinks - badly - as it cools. I've tried to prototype some things with it, only to find the ABS and PETG production items are too big. I'm really beginning to dislike this filament.perfect prints on everything ive used it for so far. used ultra violet LED's which charges glow almost instantly. glow last a fair time too after a chargeI've ordered these several times, printed many things, its a great color and glows pretty good, but last one I got white instead of green with no glow. Exchange time expected was over a month and needed to print stuff soon. Decided ill print in white instead.I found the MG Super Glow PLA filament to be very easy to work with. I'm printing it at 210C with 60C bed and have had no problems at all. The finished prints glow very brightly after being "charged" with a light source, with a slow fade that can last several minutes. This filament is less heat-resistant than other PLA I've used, but it seems about the same as PETG in terms of curling/deforming near a heat source. Overall, it's a great filament for glow-in-the-dark objects.DISASTER with the clear filament!i started a new print and all of a sudden the filament snapped in the early stages of the print, i reloaded and tried again and the same thing happened only this time it snapped inside the hot end too, it completely clogged the plastic tube on my i3 and i could not clear it even heating it up, the actual nozzle was clear but the tube into the block was solid.....costing me money :(the brown was super but the clear has permanently damaged the tube on my printerEXCELLENT quality, ive tested a lot of filament, some cheaper, some more expensive, this hits the mark matching quality and price.Ive had the best prints from this brand, i always benchmark quality with a gecko print (see picture) its almost flawlessReally happy with this brand and i hope they continue to produce filamentThe filament I received was not the same as pictured above; it is a slightly transparent royal blue and comes on a black plastic spool.The PLA prints well, however I've had some issues with it being very brittle recently. I cannot leave it overnight, and sometimes it breaks in its spool. This is after I've taken humidity measures, and storing it in an airtight box with dessicants.So far, no major problems though, and the colour is quite nice on the finished product.After hours of printing this filament failed on me. The filament went from 1.75mm to 2.5 to 1.2. It dam near jammed up my printer and i had to change bowden tube as the filament was stuck inside fortunately i got it out but i don't want to use the rest for the roll as i fear it will jam again. This was my favourite brand until now. very disappointedPrints really great, calling it glow in the dark is a stretch, though. Barely glows at all and the little glow it does have only lasts a minute or two. Goes glow under uv light though.
