To repair and convert an ender5plus that spectacularly failed the PETG test, hence the replacementvolcano head end. It sat, DIW for about a year while I found a printer that could be made to workwith a steady diet of PETG or PETG+CF. Conversion of the ender5plus involved an orbiter v2 extruderon top of a $25 volcano clone. With me printing the adapters on a modified Prusa MK3S. All designed in OpenSCAD. And its getting close to just works.The plate will I think work, one the the changes was to ditch the BLTouch as 3 of them failed to restorehoming, but the steel plate and a prox switch fixed that. But it doesn't come clean, needs gently cleaned with a soapy brillo pad, and followed with a light dusting of hair spray to get reliable bed adhesion withPETG.. Keep your finger prints off it goes w/o saying. 92% IPA will not get it clean enough but does help.Good price just like the original I used it as an replacement for my ender 5 plus bed.When you're in a hurry to start a new print, it's great to just swap out the glass build plate and start a new print immediately. The prints are always easier to remove once the glass has cooled completely, so you're less likely to damage the finish by trying to cut it off with a blade or by using force. The texture is slightly different (it's a finer/smaller texture) than the original plates, but still works just great. For some filaments that have adhesion problems, I use purple Elmer's glue sticks to lightly coat the glass, and have tended to just leave the glue on all the plates at all times. The glue washes off of the prints easily.Bought a replacement bed because mine had warped and prints were no longer sticking reliably.Gitthis one and was able to start printing immediately with no issues!ExcellentHas a large dead zone that things just won't stick to, and furthermore has a very rough texture that shreds any paper towels or cotton balls used to wipe the plate, making it dirtier than before you cleaned it. Buy official instead.Don't buy the metal plate. No filament sticks to it even with glue. I'm not using carpenters tape on a 73 dollar "upgrade". Don't waste money or time on this trash product. If you have the glass plate just stick to that because things actually stick to that.I have been 3D printing for a long time. Recently I dropped by stock glass bed for my Ender 5 plus breaking into into several pieces. I decided to try this one because a new glass bed would take over a month to get here. I have scrubbed it with soap and water. Nothing would stick. I scrubbed it with alcohol and it wont stick. Can't get anything to stick. I finally got something to stick by putting a bunch of purple glue stick on it. With a bed this size I will be going through glue sticks like crazy. I ordered a glass bed and can't wait until it arrives.Hobbyists and professionals frequently counsel using a glue stick or other secondary adhesive to ensure a good first layer. After extensive experimentation, it is clear to me that the CR-6 carborundum plate functions much better without it."Easy to remove" entails two things: its easy to secure to the bed plate with the clips, and sometimes less than easy to remove the print. Chill in the fridge if so; a paint scraper works better than the pallette knife supplied.This plate is more expensive than that for other models: I've continued to use my old one with a few chips and dings. The back up is a good idea: Fudd's Law says, It you pick it up often enough, you will drop it.Noch nie hat sich ein Druck gelöst wie es am Glasbett immer der Fall war. In Kompination Mit BL Touch ist dieses Druckbett perfekt! Niemals wieder irrgendetwas einstellen.Entweder diese Platte ist eine Kopie oder Creality hat da gepfuscht oder einen miesen Zulieferer. Auf alle Fälle habe ich schlechteste Druckresultate, null first layer adhesion und eine allgemein verzogene Platte, deren Oberfläche sich im Vergleich zum Original völlig anders anfühlt. Meiner Meinung nach Finger weg.Mit dem Glasbett an meinem Ender 3 V2 hatte ich als Anfänger Probleme. Hier ist die Haftung viel besser.Très bon produit, installation aisée, plus besoin de laqué ou autre Scotch adhesif
