I ordered the imaging unit via Amazon.com because my local Xerox distributor (St. Maarten, Dutch Caribbean) just kept giving me the run around for a number of weeks.I ordered the unit on 24 December 2013 and by 31 December 2013 it had arrived, so I'd say that was pretty fast.I managed to install the imaging unit myself, making use of instructions I'd found on the internet[...]The only downside would be that the unit itself did not come with any written instructions, so it was a good thing that I had the internet instructions or I'd really have been at a loss (and would have had to rely on my local Xerox technician).I did notice that the numbers on the unit did not fully match the ones on the original Xerox unit, but the machine works nevertheless.One thing that was not quite clear was step number 11 of the instructions, which showed a warning sign, a light bulb and '5 minutes'; afterwards I figured out that that probably meant that the unit should not be exposed to light longer than 5 minutes at that stage in the process of installation (if anyone knows the correct answer to this question, please inform me).All in all I'm happy and I'd recommend this course of action to anyone else.Amador, 10 January 2014Great item. Was not sure if it would work in my printer but after messaging the seller and being told it should work, I took the chance and sure enough it does work in it.I am giving this product and the service the highest rating because I am 100% satisfied with everything. The Unit was received on time and was exactly as described. Don't panic when you install this Unit and the printer makes a lot of noise when turned on. It will stop after a while. I'm happy to have my printer working again. I would recommend this to anyone who loves their a Xerox WorkCentre 6505 that needs an Imaging Unit.Works like it should, fit perfect!The unit works and I could install it by myself. Why does my Phaser6128MFP make noise just before it prints? It did not do that when it was new. I needed to do ten more words so I thought perhaps you could answer this question.printer is working great!!Does what it is supposed to, easy to install, and they last forever. This is a good value, contributing to cheap printing in our small office.Yeah, it works. Needed for company printer.
