If there is a significant temperature difference between the inside and outside of your enclosure/tent (such as in cold winter conditions outdoors), the heating effect may be less effective. For this reason, outdoor use during winter is not recommended.

I have it setup outside in Ohio winter. Super cold. Its well insulated enough that to the point I can see a temperature drop on the heater inside of my 3d printer the second I open it. The heater that came with my unit was defective though and didn't produce any heat. I got in contact with the seller via Amazon's message system and they agreed to refund me though.
