So like many restaurants who are forced to offer as many take out and delivery services out there we've recently had to sign up for multiple delivery services.But if you're just relying on the old regular printer ink and paper (using a B/W Laser printer). Its not the cost its the time and space these things take up. Especially if you need to stock up. Since we use a wired LAN order ticketing system - the 3 1/8 thermal rolls are already in use (which this printer uses).So win win - we have the consumables - now we just need the printer that WORKS with the kiosk locked tablets supplied by <>.So I have 3 tabletsService Is it compatible?Seamless/Grubhub YesDoorDash NoUberEats NoSetup:Its straight forward:1. Load the thermal roll2. Plug in power3. Start the installation processInstallation/Setup:This is the WIFI model.Standard setup is to set the printer into "connect" mode and you click the WPS button on your WiFi Router and Bam you should be connected ( this is true for MOST setups ).We installed a more robust and secure enterprise setup (Ubiquiti Access Points if anyone cares) and being enterprise doesnt have a WPS option (security and all). So to set this up manually:1. GET your WiFi Network info. SSID (exact case sensitivity name) and Password and security type.2. Download the printer APP to the phone (IOS and Android Avail)3. Connect to the PRINTER as it defaults out of box as a Access Point (go to wifi settings on your phone etc etc)4. Start up the printer specific App, select the printer you want to edit, click settings and look for WLAN settings.5. Change printer WLAN from ADHOC access point to Infrastructure mode and fill in with details gathered in step 16. Save and Send commits to the printer7. Printer should flash and if you view printers from a computer on the network you should see this printer available as a network printer if everything worked.8. Go to Seamless tablet and click on settings9. Add printer and a PRINTER will show up now10. Set auto print and the # of tickets you want to print.11. Voila when a delivery order comes in it auto prints and front end just needs to keep a ticket and 2nd copy goes to kitchen.My difficulties in setup is due in part to my pre-existing setup. But once it got it going boy was it a time money and reputation (team members kept forgetting to check the app to manually PRINT on the pc) saver.Oh what about the other two delivery services? I had to order the BLUETOOTH thermal printer... We were able to stop writing down doordash orders a whole day earlier than anticipated because of the fast shipping.The printer works with the android tablet Door Dash provides, unfortunately there is no way that we have found to get rid of old printers on the tablet settings, and finding the Bluetooth Serial name of the printer is a guessing game.It would be nice if the manufacturer made a working Bluetooth button so we can have the printer send out the signal for the tablet to pick up, instead of having to turn off and back on so hopefully the tablet picks up the signal. It seems like sometimes the printer doesn't send the correct Bluetooth signal when it gets turned back on after it has been turned off over night. This makes it a pain when rush hour starts and orders are not printing and you realize you need to turn the printer back off and pair the tablet and the printer again.Print quality is excellent, and the anti-curl feature is NICE!Haven't tried to pair 2 tablets to it but the other reviews say it's not possible, so not going to waste my time.Overall, this is a great printer... Just wish it was down in the $200 range instead of the $300's.Bought this printer due to many good reviews and delighted with design BUT so disappointed that LOYVERSE have not recognised it as an approved BT Printer for use with IOS iPad / iPhone. Will have to send it back as it is not compatible with the LOYVERSE POS System :(Easy to connect and work greatWas working great for almost a year. So simple to use and connect. Then out of the blue it stopped responding. Says it’s ready to go, feeds paper properly…. Can’t find on WiFi or Bluetooth to reconnect it. Help! Now what?!?works perfectly and I'm able to print from my POS system wireless it connects perfectly, you have to connect wifi first to the printer to through the tool from the manufacturing, you can download the app, then you have to setup your wifi name/password and security protocol after restart it works greatPerfectI wanted a receipt printer for my Paypal reader, it was relatively easy to set up using my iPhone just follow the step by step instructions. At first I couldn't print from paypal even though everything was connected, it was a simple fix though just had to go into the PayPal settings to add this printer.A great purchase very happyGreat printer, good price, and easy to set up and use.I am waiting to return this printer it is not compatible with the Uber tablet!! When I checked on Amazon it suggested this printer only to receive it and find out it isn’t Bluetooth so it isn’t compatible!! They should write it not suggest something that’s not compatible with a tablet!! I specifically wrote printer for Uber and was suggested this one lol waste of time and I am very frustrated!! Who’s to blame?? I just hope it can be returned sent a request still waiting!!I found the setup a little difficult. Also printing using chrome is not very good as there is no way to adjust the font on your printed receipt. It’s set up using different scheduling software is also difficult on your own, but with phone assistance from the scheduling software (booker) the process became quite easy. Overall a good printer but you sometimes loose your up IP address, which then requires your to reprogram for wifi connectionGood price point for a new printer! They arrived in excellent shape with all the bits you need, I pre ordered longer ethernet cables as I knew I would need them. Hooked this up to our POS system with no issues, as soon as they connected to the router the POS could see them, no set up at all, just printed right away. Fantastic printers, highly recommend. We use them as station printers and they are fast as lightening too. Top buy would buy again
