Connection to computer issues. Need to know about installation problem and easy fix...I just purchased the T6320 and set up was pretty easy until connecting to my computer. Tech support was not okay. After I set the printer up to run as a copier which was easy then the instructions said to go to the canon website for connecting to your computer, which I did. The website asked for model and then said to download the driver which then caused an error and said to call tech support available 24/7. I called and the difficult to understand tech person had me read the error then blamed my computer for not allowing the download and said it may be a virus. He then insisted I had to resolve the issue on my computer. This was completely wrong! He gave me no other solutions. He was completely useless. No virus after scanning. Nothing wrong on my end. I had to solve it myself which is also ridiculous. I ask you, why have a tech support if they are untrained and can't do anything to solve simple issues? What I did to resolve the issue... I restarted my computer then used the disk which was in the packaging. The disc took me to the website through a different route and everything installed easily. The tech person never asked me any questions as to whether I used the disc, or how I was going about connecting? He didn't ask any questions about how the website behaved. Just useless. The product is currently working and seems great so far as I used it to scan documents to my computer which was the easiest I've experienced to date. I'm terrified though if I have to use tech support again. It seems as if they are trained to blame the customers computer and not spend any time with you at all. Possibly just the weekend techies... I have no idea... hopefully they are better trained when and if needed in the future. My advice is to just use the included disc for connection to a computer instead of going to the specific web address mentioned in the set up instructions. Enjoy... 4 stars for the product and if it works over time I'd give it 5. Tech support gets a 1 star and probably only deserves the single star because they answered the phone on the weekend.I think that cannon had an oversight as I only received the printer and a cord and that’s it. I think it was an error from the actual product company because it seemed new and tapped freshly. Just did not come with instructions or ink unfortunately and I had to return. This printer is far more complicated and lesser quality overall than my old trusty HP. I threw away $100+ on this printer. After making approximately 150 copies, the print cartridges started to pop up and would not stay down. I had a technician look at it and he could get one of them to stay down by taping it in, but it didn’t work on the others. This is ridiculous! I had to go and buy another printer and I went back to my good old HP brand. This Canon printer delivers high quality color photo prints. My only complaint (about most printers today) is a lack of planning consideration for users. The printer has a USB-B outlet in a hard to locate corner location; it does not accept thumb-drives or SD cards, and you must work to keep it off the internet which which inherently unsafe. Lastly, the current printer is plastic and not as sturdy as previous Canon models, but in the current dearth of full options fro users, it may be as good as you can get for now. This thing is dirt cheap for a photo printer and it made me worried.I gave it 5 stars with only a short time using it.I save most of my receipts, documents, etc as PDFs. But did print a few, and it works fine.I mostly used it to take back a hobby I abandoned some decade ago and give it another shot.As an entry level printer and my amateur DSLR and Mirrorless Camera use, this printer works great. It prints fast enough for me. The photos look better than printing them at the local drug store kiosk. And it was cheap. Some things that I will point out that others might take stars off but I let pass.:1. It's loud, especially during initialization. One of the loudest printers I've used in a long time.2. I don't know if you can use 3rd party ink with it and if you haven't heard yet, 1st party ink is more expensive than a blood or crude oil. But I don't print every photo I take, not by a long shot, so this I'll suffer with if it comes down to it.3. Like a lotta modern PC related electronics, there is a noxious amount of lighting on it. If your putting it in a den or office that's fine. I wouldn't want to sleep with it in the same room as me however, unless you kill the power strip every night. Some other good things:1. Setting it up is extremely easy.2. If an error occurs, it displays a message, you correct it, and hit the OK button like it says. The LCD help display has been really useful and responsive. That is all. I'm happy with it thus far (~3 weeks).I think its absolutely ridiculous that I can not print anything to an exact size. My options are only borders or borderless? What kind of crap is that? Why would I care about the borders? I want to print to the size im designing at. Very frustrating and stupid to not have the option to print to a size I want it at. Inkjets are a waste of money. Buy laser instead. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. Ink is a scam by the way.
