High Precision Integrating only the finest quality components, it takes pride in high accuracy and durability, which makes possible the high-resolution 3D printing, engraving, cutting, and carving. Well-made The high-performance aluminum alloys are made into precision, reliable parts of Snapmaker modules after a series of processing steps. A350T/A250T not only looks premium, but also consistently delivers high performance. All-metal All the Snapmaker models are built to last. For Snapmaker 2.0 series, we pushed the boundaries of all-metal construction even further. All modules and major components are made of high-strength metal. Powerful Controller One of the big reasons why A350T/A250T can support various modules and add-ons is that we have innovatively adopted the CAN (Controller Area Network) bus expansion. A special chip is built inside the controller to transmit all messages, which allows easy modification and inclusion of additional ports and controls in the future. You can now print large objects without fear. Power Module Improvement The new Power Module uses a much quieter fan whose speed can be adjusted automatically acco'rding to the real-time temperature, realizing a noise level decrease of about 16 dB, so that you can truly focus on your making. Noise Reduction Chip Although the levels might vary, certain parts of the machine can produce noise while operating. With the new A350T/A250T Linear Modules, the noise gets reduced substantially, thanks to the TMC2209 stepper motor driver chips embedded. Lead Optimization on Linear Module Quieter printing doesn't necessarily mean slower speed. Snapmaker accordingly increases the leads of the X and Y axes' screw rods, from 8 mm to 20 mm, ensuring a stable and fast working speed. I would not call myself an expert but "well versed" in the 3D Printing, CNC Routing, and CNC Laser world. I have owned multiple manufactures of each of these as individual machines and have built several CNC routers and Lasers from my own designs.Due to some life changing events (good ones), I have had to downsize my shop and elected to purchase the Snapmaker 2.0 A350T to "compromise" and use up less space and generate less noise. This machine exceeds my expectations for an "All in one" type machine.First off, the noise issues S.M. had with the first version of the 2.0 series machines has been solved with the AxxxT models. This is the quietest of ALL of the machines I have owned.3D Printer operations:On my bench, the SM 2.0 is replacing an Ender 5 Plus and I must say this machine is much quieter and MUCH easier out of the box to printing. Probably the best 3d printer for the beginner. My previous machine wasn't hard to use necessarily but only because I have had significant experience with 3D printing. The S.M. takes ease of use to a whole new level.Laser Operation:The laser engraving module (stock) does not have a lot of power for cutting but it does a wonderful job with simple engraving. The focusing routine is somewhat tedious but the results are very much worth it. The Luban software is somewhat limited but this can be cured with using some of the open source and free products out there. However, Luban is great for the beginner to learn the essentials with especially if you stick with engraving.CNC Router:This is the one feature of the machine that is the most compromised in my opinion. However, I must say I moved from a Shapeoko to the S.M. which is like going from a pickup to a sedan. Luban is in my opinion not great except for basic engraving operations. However, using Carbide Create solves that problem. I still use Luban to send .nc file to machine. (I love the wifi feature) Another aspect I am not too fond of is the "flex" the waste board has when in the CNC Router operation. This too can be solved by some creative ideas from the www. I have added a couple of linear rails to support the front and back. With this and appropriate feeds and speeds, this machine is perfectly usable to cut much of what a hobbyist would want to cut. (What you can't cut with the laser, you can cut using the Router)Overall, I feel the best part of this machine is the flexibility to have all 3 machines in the same footprint. In my opinion, with a creative mind, this machine is the best solution for small spaces. If you live in an apartment and want to "make" stuff, this machine is worth every penny due to the ease of use, flexibility, footprint, and low noise levels. Here is my rating for each of the operations:3D Printing: 5 Stars (Easy, Great quality, Large Print Volume)CNC Laser: 5 Stars (Remember you are buying a 1.6W laser. Don't expect it to cut much)CNC Router: 3 stars (Flexing of waste board due to mounting on linear rails. Fixable with modifications)I'm very happy with the 3d printer, but the laser is really only good for engraving. I have tried numerous time for it to cut through the supplied basswood but it takes so many passes that its not worth it.Very easy to use!I spent a few months looking at many 3D printers and CNC machines. I had a budget and wanted to make my money work as hard as I could. I purchased the A350T based on other reviews plus the fact it could perform 3 different functions. It seemed that somebody figured out that XYZ control applies to many different machines and just merged them. I did purchase an additional (much larger) CNC machine and will be using the SnapMaker for creating additional accessories and parts for the CNC as well as items for sale. As soon as word got out that I had a 3D printer, requests just started coming in for different items. It will pay for itself in less than 4 months. The design, packaging, support, and just excellent quality and I have thousands of tools, this is really a well designed and manufactured machine. Success came within minutes after an hour of assembling the device. Documentation is robust, and support manuals extensive, support group, forum, and their supply store has good process, and upon occasion, great sales to RE supply. You don’t get that with a lot of machines in this price range. They obviously want a long term relationship with their customers. Rare to find these days. What a great machine. I'm new to 3d printing and so glad I started with Snapmaker. Not only is this a rock solid machine, Snapmaker has turned product packaging and assembly into an art form! Are there awards for this? If so, these folks win.Following their assembly directions, the machine was simple to assemble and get started. Plus their self calibration for 3d printing had me up and running without having to do any tweaking. After running it for a few weeks, I did have a couple of questions. Their tech support responded quickly and was very helpful in providing me with the information I needed. This is a solid machine. Everything fits together perfectly. So happy I chose Snapmaker for my first 3d printer. Ease of assembly, ease of use, and excellent tech support make it worth every penny!Eh truly sums up my feelings in the snap maker products. They are polished designs, but leave a lot to be desired for the price point. Out of the box my laser engraver had a issue. It took two weeks of troubleshooting to convince them to send a replacement laser module. I feel I could have spent my money else were and got three better machines. Be prepared to not have a turn key solution, but one that requires quite a bit of work to build, test, and then make.I wish there were more info than just a quick start guide. Unless you are used to 3d printing, quick start is not going to happen.Putting machine together was a big job in itself. It all line up perfectly. But before you print do your learning.Super genial, bin total happy. Ich bewerte den Drucker ohne PlattformHi there; This review process asks about tech support: well I can't say cause I did not have to call them.it also asks about it is for beginner. This is my first 3d printer and I managed to print something but I can't say if there is something must better out there for beginners. But the reason we are here. I'm 60. I bought a lot of stuff in my life and never was I so impressed by what was delivered. If the quality of the packaging is any indication this product is absolutely phenomenal. Every single components carefully packaged and layered expertly. I'm telling you the unboxing itself was a joy. I wished I took picture it's amazing. Now the construction of the printer itself seem very solid. The numerous connector are of top quality and sit securely in their sockets. Every type of component have their own connector so you can't connect them the wrong way. The whole thing is made of aluminum and feels solid like to will last years with no issue.I am absolutely pleased with my purchase except that they cam out with the "artisant" model about 3 week after a received mine and I wished I had known before I might have switched to the newer model instead.
