Now, when I bought it, I bought it on sale. So I would definitely think it's worth the money for what I paid for it- about 80$ USD total. Occasionally it makes an unusable label due to a slight misalignment in printing, but it hasn't been too much of a huge deal for me to get annoyed with it for such a cheap printer. I'm just sure to buy the blank labels in bulk so it feels like less of a waste with how much money I spend per label.I use this to print labels I buy for my orders on sites like Etsy, and I would say that considering how much I ship per week, how much I've saved with online shipping discounts and the fact I don't have to pay for ink- this thing has definitely paid for itself already just after a month of owning it.It's easy to use- the hardest part was figuring out how to print things that aren't already formatted for 4x6 printers, but that's an issue with sites like USPS, not the printer, so I'm not really gonna hold that against it. And Etsy has an option for 4x6 printers, so that's fine. Maybe there's better thermal printers out there, but until this one breaks, I'm satisfied with it.The power switch is inconveniently placed in the back, you have to wrinkle the label to turn on or off the switch and as you know wrinkled labels jam up printers.Also the power brick that came with it works intermittently. This printer works a lot better with the square type labels rather than the rolls. Unfortunately you'd have to buy a roll holder with the rules otherwise due to the thoughtless placement of the cables, it will jam up as soon as the roll bumps into the printer as it spoolsI read a few of the reviews that talked about how much trouble they had setting this up. To me, it was very simple. They send the drivers and instructions on a thumb drive. I installed the drivers which also created the printer. Plugged in the power and the USB to the computer. Needed to print a label from Pirate Ship. Selected a 4x6 label on the site, selected print, the printer choices came up and I selected Joise printer (it remembered on future printing) and spit out a perfect label. I think the entire setup was under 15 minutes, and that included carefully reading the manual to make sure I inserted the paper correctly (and it almost takes care of that itself). I believe the default on the printer was already set to a 4x6, but there are many other options if using different labels.You do need to be careful with the driver/printer installation. If it installs the same way for everyone, it makes the Joise printer the default printer. I just jumped over to the installed printers and changed the default back.I have went back and forth for 2 years over which thermal printer to purchase. I ship roughly 25 packages a week and was cutting and taping labels. This is a complete game changer. It set up super quick. It has a weird issue where if I feed the paper in, it will go past a few so I do one at a time. This may be an issue I can figure out how to resolve one day but for now this is not an issue. I have used it for 2 days and shipped multiple labels and invoices. Saved me so much time and money!I bought this as my label printer for my small business plans because it seemed like a good value between price and usability, and, guess what?It is!I've since installed it on two different PCs and had no issues downloading drivers and getting it to work like a pro. It takes labels from Etsy without issue, and labels from Pirateship no worries. I have had to edit some labels in Photoshop that downloaded in the full-page format. But, after making them 4x6, Jiose printed them no sweat. I love that it comes with test labels too, so you can learn thermal label printing without having to invest in a ton of labels, and they provide enough for beginner messups (I had several at first).I definitely recommend this as an affordable, effective label printer.When I finally installed my JIOSE label printer, I couldn't believe how easy it was to print all kinds of labels. This was the best product I have ever ordered!!!! I have printed shipping labels, address labels, scan bar codes, some pictures and it was soooo easy to do!!!! This printer is essential to my small business and now can not work without it. You will not be disappointed with this great little printer! It is the best!!!The printer was easy to install and set up. When you are printing multiple labels at the same time, it does a great job on 90% of the labels. If you are printing one at a time, I usually have to print 3 times to get a clear barcode (without a disjointed/unconnected space in the barcode lines). I am using the labels that they recommended as compatible with this printer, so it is a printer issue not a label one. If you are okay wasting 20-30% of your labels, then fine. I recommend printing orders in large batches but it doesn't always work out that way.Not only is this an awesome label maker but you can print coupons using this item to. absolutely LOVE IT.. Es musste kein mega teures Profi-Gerät sein, weil mein Paketaufkommen doch eher überschaubar ist.Ich bin bei meiner Recherche auf dieses Modell gestoßen und war angetan vom Preis und der Möglichkeit, ihn auch unter macOS nutzen zu können. Die meisten Geräte sind für Windows konzipiert.Die Installation unter macOS ist sehr einfach und sehr gut beschrieben. Es gab auch unter dem derzeit neusten System (macOS 12.2) keine Probleme, den Drucker in Betrieb zu nehmen. Das beiliegende Testlabel wurde schnell und gut auf den ebenfalls beiliegenden Klebeetiketten ausgedruckt.Dann kam aber die Enttäuschung: Ich bin DHL-Privatkunde. Daher bekomme ich, wenn ich ein Paketlabel online kaufe einen DIN A4 Bogen als PDF zum herunterladen. Auf diesem Bogen ist einerseits das Label und andererseits ein Formular, dass theoretisch von der Post bei Abgabe ausgefüllt werden müsste.Beides befindet sich auf einer Seite. Das Formular ist zwar völlig nutzlos und ich habe es noch nie verwendet. Es wurde auch noch nie danach gefragt (das wäre mal ein anderes Thema), aber es ist halt da.Es ist mir - auch mit Hilfe der Webseite des Druckerherstellers - nicht gelungen, das DIN AA PDF in Adobe so anzupassen, dass nur der relevante Teil auf dem Drucker aufs Label gedruckt wird. Es war immer irgendwas abgeschnitten bzw. die Seite war falsch positioniert.Vermutlich würde man es mit erheblichem Aufwand und Bastelarbeit irgendwie hinbekommen. Damit ist aber mein im ersten Satz dieser Rezension geschriebener Anspruch EINFACH dahin. Ich vermute als Geschäftskunde von DHL mit vielen 100 Sendungen am Tag bekommt man andere Label-PDFs für seine Pakete. Als Privatkunde jedenfalls nicht. Ich habe auch keine Möglichkeit gefunden, das einzustellen.Der Drucker wird mit DHL-Fähigkeit beworben es wird mit keiner Silbe erwähnt, dass es vermutlich nur mit Business-Accounts geht. Der Drucker ist größtenteils aus Kunststoff gefertigt, ich wage zu bezweifeln, dass er in einem Business-Umfeld lange Bestand hat.Daher gibt's nur drei Sterne (immerhin ist er einfach zu installieren und druckt auch schnell!) Außerdem ist die Labelerkennung sehr gut.Er geht jetzt zurück, weil er eben nicht für meinen (einfachen) Zweck geeignet ist.Have wanted a small thermal printer for a while and found this one. This printer is compact and not very heavy. It is so useful when printing online postages, as I used to print on paper then having to put tape all over it in case it gets wet. I have also used it to print some labels for my homemade cookies, which look so realistic and funny. ThanksI never printed one label before it stopped working after turning it on one time, and the return date was already closedWow, wish I had bought this years ago! I own an online business and this has made a world of difference. I print my labels directly from Chit Chats. It takes about 20 seconds to print them and saves me soo much time. The printer was simple and quick to set up. Chit Chats website has detailed instructions on setting up label printing but you don't need to install their recommended driver program because this printer comes with its own. I went through the 20 labels they provided on the first day then I ordered the "4Roll - LabelX 4" x 6" Direct Thermal Perforated" and the "EEkiimy External Plastic Roll Label Paper Holder" from Amazon. They all work together wonderfully and I would recommend all products.The USB doesn’t work, and it’s used, not new.
