I had a few of these and do go bad every once in a while and are really cheap to replace. Cheaper than a mainboard to replace.I use these to take the load from the mainboard like a relay where the mainboard turns it on and the load goes through this instead of the mainboard where I had some burn up the mainboard. I also have used these on the hotend as well where it needed the higher Temps and would send through these instead of the mainboard.A bonus comes with them where the buildplate or hotend heat up faster as well.I can tell you that this one is definitely on the heavy-duty side. The heat sink is quite large so I do belive it will generate a good amount of heat.Well it's going under the test and when it finally gives up I will be posting an update so you will know how long this one lasted.Good Luck and protect your printers with these.
