Frequently 'mail-order' printer cartridges come that were discarded by a reputable dealer and some miscreant picks them up for cheap resale. This definitely was not the case here -- quality and speed too.You can buy ink from the Epson store too --- at similar prices. I think Amazon's stock turns over fast enough to get a FRESH cartridge giving you plenty of shelf life. If you DO have a problem, all Epson and they'll replace it - or - do it through Amazon. It's ink. It's Genuine Epson. It's expensive... but it is the good stuff. ...AND, if you are buying this type of cartridge you own a pro-level printer... so pro on!I always think it's too expensive and hate paying the price, but I never complain when I get the prints! It's just really a great ink! I wish it costs less, but not if it means the quality will be diminished! These inks make great prints!Sort of stupid. I have the Epson R2880 printer and was not using it much because the paper and ink cost money. DUH. Why not sell some prints? Most of the cost is in the frame, not the paper and ink. Having said that, this printer using these inks produce brilliant results.Standard ink for my five year old printer.These work great and you need them if you are going to print.
