Read more FAQs: Why can't the filaments stick to the build bed? 1. Check the temperature setting before printing, PETG filaments have higher extrusion temperature than that of PLA; 2. Check if the plate surface has been used for a long time, it is recommended to replace it with our new one to ensure a strong first layer adhesion; 3. If the first layer has poor adhesion, it is recommended to re-level the print substrate to reduce the distance between the nozzle and the surface plate; 4. If the effect is not good, it is recommended to try printing the draft before printing. I was able to set it up with the instructions made a few changes in the 3d printers slicing software and off I went. I was trying PLA & ABS both failed horribly warpage non adhesion a big mess and waste of time and expense. I've printed the same 2 parts with this product and they printed great they held to the board and they did not warp at all. I sent for another roll because this stuff is great. I have a labists Ed4 just a starter 3d printer under 200 and this product has made me happy. My printer was not the issue The type of plastic to print with made the difference PLA printed ok but ABS was a complete failure. I really liked the instruction and information tip booklet that came with the product it really made a difference with getting the printer set up & adjusted to get results. Amanda: I've worked with PETG before and wasn't crazy about it because I experienced a lot of stringing. A friend of mine recommended buying this filament. I tested it on one of those universal connector designs (Duplo - K'nex) cuz I might as well print something my kid will use, right? This filament came with recommended settings for extruder and bed temperature. My Ender 3 Pro can't achieve a bed temperature as high as recommended for this filament, so I just maxed it out at 110C. This worked just fine -- the piece stuck well to the bed but wasn't hard to remove when complete. I set extruder temp to 240 for the first layer and then 230 for remaining layers. I also set the cooling settings to have the fan always on. Turned out great on the first try, little to no stringing, and I was able to remove support structures easily and cleanly. I'd recommend this filament if you're looking to make the switch from PLA to PETG. Abby Shen: I have received for more than a week, just found a time to try to use it, the product exceeds my expectation. First time using PETG for printing and incredibly happy with the results. It's super and I mean super strong. I used this spool for printing garden irrigation parts, custom-sized spare parts boxes and some brackets for a peg board. Printed very smooth and seems strong enough where it counts and flexible enough where it needed to be, just what i needed for this print. PETG provides good adhesion to the bed plate and a strong print. The filament prints smooth and haven’t had any issues with blobs or clogging. Layers are uniform throughout. I checked the filament thickness, with a set of decimal calipers, at random intervals as it was being fed into the extruder. No failed prints and bridging have been effortless where I've had huge issues with that in PLA. Would definitely recommend this as a good filament for All in all I would highly recommend. Read more

Considering the low cost this could be a partial solution for storing 3D print filament. IMHO the bags are too big for that purpose. The excessive amount of material around the spool is a minus for neat storage. If the manufacturer decided to produce smaller bags for one spool at a time, they could make the bags wall thickness bigger and they would be more reliable. Current version has a high failure rate. Some bags are one use. They are low cost but let's try to figure out what we are going to cause releasing all that plastic waste into the environment. It would be better if we could reuse them a few times. Nevertheless, they are helpful for the purpose of keeping filament from acquiring humidity. A plus could be that the vacuum valve is compatible with pumps from another brand.I wasn't sure what to expect from this roll of PETG. I had never heard of this brand, and the price seemed too good to be true. Boy was I surprised! The first test print I ran was a 250% Benchy. At that size, any flaws or issues with the filament would definitely be in-your-face visible, right? Boy was I surprised! This Benchy looks GREAT. Consistent layer lines, good overhangs, next to zero stringing (which I usually get with PETG), and a beautiful shiny finish. But let's back up a bit...The packaging is excellent. Typical filament box. Inside was a very nicely vacuumed packed roll, and a instruction with tips to get good performance out of the filament. The roll of filament itself was nicely wound.I proceeded to print the next test... a HUGE Marvin! He turned out beautifully also. Great layer lines, no visible issues. There was the typical visible overhangs between his legs and on the top key chain loop, and yes, they were more prominent due to the large scale of this Marvin, but those areas are typically visible, as are most overhangs like these. Overall the Marvin is perfect by my standards!Next was a print in place adjustable wrench. Again, I was very pleased with the results. The wrench works as good as it can for a 3D printed wrench, all the support material removed with extreme ease, and the overall print quality is excellent.Last test print was the 250% flexible T-Rex! As expected, this guy turned out fantastic! He popped off the bed with ease, and every joint was clean and bent as it should. No need to force any parts apart! The Benchy and Marvin were printed at a 0.2mm layer height. The T-Rex was printed at a 0.3mm layer height. All models were printed at 230º nozzle and 50º bed.I will definitely be purchasing and testing more of this brand of filament. The price is right at $17.00 with 5% coupon for a 1kg roll of black PETG. And they have eighteen colors to choose from. Colors are just $2-3 more $17.99 per spool.PLA is the love-child of the 3D printing world, but PETG tends to be much better for structural strength and bed adhesion. I bought this on a sale because I wanted some wood-like filament and prefer PETG over PLA and its breathren. The box itself didn't give me high hopes, as it had clearly taken a beating. Upon opening, I was pleased at the quality of the spool...being of much higher quality than some very cheap filament I've used. This also included a ziplock bag to place the spool in between uses and a manual that gave all of its properties - bravo! The settings recommended were my typical PETG settings and worked well. Strength is adequate and typical of PETG with less elasticity than any transparentt filaments. Texture is interesting, and I encountered some small 'stringers' when printing, which were somewhat unusual and not the excess webbing typical of 3D printing - perhaps an artifact of the wood-like nature? Easily enough zapped away with a little flame, but notable. As this is my first time using a wood-type filament, I can't say if this is typical. All in all, I'm very pleased with the final product, and it's certainly an interesting finish, although glossier than I'd like.. I have yet to see any other PETG wood-like filament that competes in price with this and can enthusiastically recommend this to anybody in the market, unless you're looking for a more matte finish...then again, there's always sandpaper.TLDR:1) Bed adhesion is a nonissue using PEX and PEI surfaces. I've not tried any others, yet.2) Strength seems similar to other PETG I've used, but less elastic in nature.3) Texture is interesting and may require some post-processing due to some unusual stringing.4) Spool is of excellent quality, and Unido includes a manual and ziplock bag for storage as well.5) Excellent value for PETG.It works just perfect for the Ender 3 Pro. I have cero issues with it. 100% recommended
