The purpose of this nut is to adjust backlash. The set screw needs the nut inside the cutout as you see it in the picture. When it was shipped to me that nut was on the set screw outside the cutout. I had to disassemble the entire thing to get to that nut. Then reassemble after making the adjustments. This took awhile. I'm to old for this.
