Updated Review: Posting an update to this review after 1-week of testing, calibration and getting successful prints. In addition, after writing the below review Atraxia Art asked if I would like a full refund for my experience. Great to know that Atraxia Art is not just pushing a product out here and thinking about their customers. I will not take the refund, but rather share some specific details that greatly improved my prints.1. This filament has a high elongation to break as noted in the description. It also has a relatively low elongation deformation at about 200%-300%. Also noted under the IMPORTANT section in the description. Feed the filament on a low friction roller and if using PTFE or like tube, keep the amount of bends and distance as low as possible. The friction of the filament in a tube especially with bends will increase the chance of deformation, reducing the diameter, and causing the head gears to loose grip and stop extruding.2. Hygroscopic. Dry the filament before use.3. Do not recommend tempuratures higher than 240C. Higher chance of burning material inside the nozzle and leaving deposits. If this happens, reduce the temperature and continue to purge out. Can also run abrasive filaments like any CF reinforced filaments to clean out the nozzle.4. If you have a higher temp filament in the nozzle and need to purge before using this low temp filament, use a filament that extrudes with a temperature range with a lower temp point of ~240C to purge out the higher temp filament, then you can purge with this filament.5. Overhangs of more than 45 degrees do not adhere well, depending on your nozzle size and extrude width.6. Extrude layer height at 60%-70% of the nozzle size. I used a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.42mm and 0.36mm height respectively with good results.7. Retraction is good to relieve pressure buildup between the nozzle tip and extruder gears. Helps with longer print times.Read Atraxia Art details in full and take your time to setup. The vacuum bag that comes with is by far the best part of my experience. Will definitely order more of their filaments just to get the vacuum bag at the minimum. My climate is a high humidity tropical setting, and moisture removal and storage is a constant battle.Previous Review: Would be very interested in the chemical chain makeup of this material as I highly doubt this could be considered PLA. If there is PLA, it's a blend material at best that behaves more like very soft TPU. Some bold claims here. If you are experienced with TPU, go for it. If not, get some hard TPU and test that out first and work your way down to this soft TPU / possibly blended with PLA. Recommend a 0.8mm or 1mm nozzle unless you have your settings and ambient surrounding area dialed in to very tight tolerances. This stuff likes to clog.
