I find my printer feeds easier and I get fewer snags on rolls spooled from the middle if I'm using this instead of the stock top mount. It was easy to assemble, it's stable and it does what it's supposed to. I don't love that it takes up so much space, though. I think I would like it much more if it had a storage drawer or compartment of some sort in that open base in the bottom. It would make up for some of the lost space and give it some added value/functionality.
