Yes, there is artisanal filament, and it’s made by ProtoPasta. I haven’t ever used better-looking, better-adhering, or easier-to-print filament than ProtoPasta. This filament prints as a semi-translucent, bright, yellow color that glows like safety-yellow when in sunlight or flourescent light. I printed a phone case with it and it refuses to get dirty, wear down, or break, despite multiple clumsy drops.Overall, I'm more impressed with the colour than the Filament itself. I would say the print quality was average / "okay". But I did enjoy the N64 atomic purple vive I got from the prints. It was quite enjoyable to make some classic Nintendo themed prints.Nebula by ProtoPasta is easily one of my top3 filaments to use. Never had a single issue printing with it. Color is vibrant and has just enough of a shimmer. It is well worth the price.Brighter than it appears in picturesI love protopasta HTPLA. I have most of their colors and it prints great and easy like normal pla but if you hear treat it right it can withstand heat and become stronger than abs. It can go up to 140c to 160c after heat treating. Abs doesn't even come close. Only thing I don't like is the 500g spools. Which makes it pretty expensive if you think about it.Quick shipping, well packed and the plastic works great.Strong stuff. Prints great at 235 nozzle, 60 bed and 110% feed. I took away 1 star because the cardboard spool it comes on is trash. Spool was crushed and bent on arrival and doesn't spin smoothly causing feed issues. I applaud company's trying to be more environmental but don't cheap out on the spool! Overture brand comes with a great cardboard spool.the only thing good about this filament is the color is great. I have tried to run 7 different prints and none have completed. I have tried different print speeds, different layer size, and different temps. Not even the temp tower could finish with this filament. The portions of the print that do come out are not smooth they feel almsot fuzzy I would say is the best word. I had to do a cold pull just to get the filament out to change to a different color. Printing at 195c was under extruding 210c still under extruding 220 still under extruding and 225c the full range of temps they reccomend all under extruding. I ended up having to pull my entire extruder apart and clean it because of the chunks of filament coming off of it while trying to print. With over 1000+ prints under my belt and 2 years of printing I can honestly say this has been the worst filament I have ever used don't waste your money. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the color is great. High quality
