For seasoned 3D printing players who know what they are doing, Borosilicate glass bed is the best and only choice. Warm tips :1. you MUST use bed adhesive product like "Bed Weld" to build an ultra-thin protection layer between glass and print. The glass although silky smooth to human eyes, has micro crevices on the surface. If printing directly on it, the melted plastic may embed into the crevices, so when you remove the print later on, micro crystal of the glass will be pulled away together. Eventually, the glass will develop noticeable damages. So "Bed Weld" or so is mandatory.2. NEVER attempt to remove the print by pulling or wiggling, instead, holding a compressed air can UPSIDE DOWN, aiming at the conjunction between glass and print, then pull the trigger quickly but shortly. This way allows the super cold liquid air spaying out to shrink whatever it touches. Since thermal plastic has a much higher thermal expansion coefficient than borosilicate glass, it will pop off the glass bed like magic. If not, aiming at multiple spots and repeat this trick. Then you will be happy for sure, because now you have a glass-flat surface on your print, effortlessly.
