Canon PIXMA G620 Wireless MegaTank Photo Printer with High-Yield Ink - Perfect for Home Office, Photo Printing & Small Business Use

This Canon G620 printer arrived well boxed the day after ordering in perfect condition. I have been using printers since I got my first personal computer in 1988. This is a little gem for printing photos. I am now retired so I don't need to print speedily or in quantity any more. And this is half the size of my old Epson Stylus Photo R1900 that I finally let go after 16 years of use. I chose this as its replacement after much searching and reading of owner testimonials with some misgivings at first. Now? It is a great photo printer. Unlike my old R1900, it uses tanks of ink that go much further than the cartridges did. It is also a wireless scanner and copier with a simple lift top. No fancy multipage feeder. Just a simple LED control screen. It connected quickly and easily to my pc by following the Canon webpage instructions. It produces documents at medium speed and is deliberate and somewhat slow in printing of photos. Crisp, faithful colour, image and text reproduction. That's all I want and all I need at this stage of my life. One thing shocked me, however, when one day it was one price and the next day the price fell by $83! Fortunately I had not put in my order until after the price adjustment. This is one time I benefitted from a price drop. My luck must be getting better! I've been taking photos since I was a kid and this Canon G620 gives me professional quality glossy and matte prints consistently right out of my Nikon Z cameras. Photos from our Samsung smartphones usually require some photoshopping before printing and usually three or four trial prints before finding the right tone. But with the tank ink supply, a few extra prints is a negligible cost. And a lot of fun!
